SHEIN x Klarna — Illustration and design for SHEIN and Klarna’s ‘Save in Style Tour’.

University of Virginia, Department of Art  — Logo and branding design for UVA’s Department of Art. Leveraging the University of Virginia’s existing style guide, we aimed to modernize the department logo while upholding the university’s presence. We did this by including the UVA acronym logo, typeset in Caslon and harking back to Declaration of Independence, and nesting it within the word Art, typeset in the relatively modern san-serif font, Franklin Gothic. In addition, we created poster templates for various repeat events hosted by the department.

UNSETTLING GROUNDS — Brochure and poster design for Unsettling Grounds, a pilot platform showcasing experimental and monumental works by Black, brown, indigenous & rural artists via an augmented reality exhibition located in the Charlottesville Woolen Mills. The project was curated by Marisa Williamson and fabricated by Dream Syndicate. Featuring work by Marie Tattiana Aqeel, Joumana Altallal, Myra Anderson, April Branham, Tanesha Hudson, Aidyn Mancenido, Alma Rayen Molina, Kweisi Morris, Adrienne Jacobs Oliver and Sandy Williams IV.

FORT GREENE STOOP SALE — Organized and run by a group of mutual friends living in NYC, I had the honor of creating posters and clothing graphics for group which raised over $25k to support local black communities and organizations.

ADIDAS RUNNERS LOFT NYC — Interior design of the NYC Adidas Runners loft. The loft served as both an activation space and an administrative office for the group. Keeping this in mind, we designed a space that was modular and accomodating to the large running group and it’s varying activities, while still functioning as an office on the daily.

BLAAAH MAGAZINE — is an arts & culture publication I started in 2008 and ran til about 2016. It initially started as a tumblr blog a friend and I used to keep in touch after college by sharing art and ideas. Over time, I took the reigns and led it in a more print focused direction. I wanted to shift the editorial pacing to a format that allowed for more long form content, and tangible experiences.

During that time, a group of collaborators and I created three print issues, organized various art shows & events, and collected several hundreds of dollars for various fundraisers.
