HADAD’S LAKE ART SHOW
In September of 2023, we organized an event at a man-made swimming hole called Hadad’s Lake.
With an interest in place-based art making and public art, we put out an open call asking artist to embrace the unique environment and use it to display their works in fun inventive ways. The result was a day filled with art, music, swimming and sunshine. This included twelve visual artists, five performers, and four arts/craft vendors, all of whom added a special dimension to the event.

we’re organizing an open-air art show at the legendary Hadad’s Lake, and looking for a selection of 10-20 works to install all over the park. We are accepting all forms of art, but highly encourage floating art, place-based earthworks, murals, and unique temporary installations. We suggest going to Hadad’s and speaking with Dorian if you would like to do a custom install on one of the structures there, they will be offering half off entry to artists. Just tell them Mauricio sent ya 😉.
