Howard Hughes
Howard Hughes is a real estate development and management company based in The Woodlands, Texas. We had the opportunity to work on a variety of branding projects for their North American properties.
THE SEAPORT, as one of Howard Hughes’ core properties in New York City, we designed a variety of print and digital assets, and helped conceive of various seasonal experiential concepts that would be activated in the region.
FRAMEWORKS is a co-working space based in the Merriweather District in Baltimore, Maryland. The concept for the logo was inspired by the modular ethos of the space, using geometric shapes as a basis for the typographic treatment in the logo and layout design approach. Taking cues from Karl Martens' use of shapes and industrial forms as type, we created a grid system made of quarter circles arranged in various ways to develop legible uppercase Latin letters.
VICTORIA PLACE is a luxury apartment high-rise in Honolulu, Hawaii. Envelope had the privilege of designing the logo, wordmark, and a series of icons for the building. Working alongside Howard Hughes’ designer Jeffrey Wong, we created a visual style that would carry the elegance of the architecture and decor of the building.
